Then…

In the summer of 2024, HoLs Co-Founders, Ethan and Denver, were swimming at their favorite spot in the Susquehanna River. They noticed significant build up of plastic waste while swimming and realized they had to do something to give back to the river that gave them so many memories. This desire to help sparked Hooked on Lancaster, a conservation initiative focused on cleaning environments, educating the youth, and uniting their community!

Now…

Today, Hooked on Lancaster has hosted 13 local clean ups, accumulating over 2,000 pounds of trash cleaned with over 150 active volunteers. Hooked On Lancaster has reached thousands of people through cleanups, speaking events, and social media. We’ve educated over 100 students in local schools on the importance of environmental awareness and activism. Hooked on Lancaster has expanded nationally as well! We’ve formed a nationwide partnership with 15+ environmental organizations, all working towards a collective goal of a sustainable future! If you or your organization would like to be apart of this mission, please contact us!
